Associate Director

As an Associate Director, you will play a pivotal role in managing a prestigious portfolio of private clients. Your responsibilities revolve around overseeing corporate and trust structures, advising the board of directors on client transactions, as well as ensuring adherence to legal parameters. Your expertise will shape the success of our client's operations within the bounds of the law.

Key Responsibilities :

Relationship Management :
Develop and maintain strong relationships with UBOs, clients, family offices and business introducers.
Act as the main point of contact for a selected portfolio, addressing queries promptly.

Transaction Expertise :
Analyze proposed transactions from legal, tax and corporate perspectives, providing tailored solutions.
Manage and oversee the execution of client transactions, ensuring timely delivery and exceeding expectations.

Corporate Governance :
Advise the board of directors on client transactions and review/draft relevant documentation.
Administer legal and trust structures, handling entity formations and dissolutions, predominantly in Malta.

Team Leadership :
Oversee direct reportees, optimizing performance in quality and quantity.
Collaborate with the client accounting team to enhance the client experience.

Compliance and Reporting :
Ensure AEOI assessment and reporting.
Collect necessary KYC and CDD documentation, maintaining AML/CFT compliance.
Manage client databases efficiently.

Service Delivery :
Collaborate closely with client relationship and accounting teams to deliver impeccable service to clients.

Regulatory and Corporate Governance :
Stay informed about local legislation and regulations, ensuring compliance.
Uphold company policies and procedures, providing mandatory Group Annual Assurance.
Report suspicious transactions to the Money Laundering Reporting Officer.

Relevant Experience :
Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting (Hons) / ACCA Qualification.
Minimum 8 years in TCSP, accounting, tax or audit sectors with direct exposure to tax advisory.
Proven track record of managing portfolios for UHNW families.
Direct operational experience with international structures and private clients.
Track record of meeting and exceeding expectations.
Strong team-player with a positive attitude and experience in dynamic organizaitons.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to lead by example.
High ethical standards and hands-on approach.
Ability to think innovatively while anticipating potential challenges and proactively addressing them.
Culturally sensitive with experience in dealing with diverse nationalities and business cultures.
Ability to adapt to change and take initiative.
