Junior Auditor

JUNIOR AUDITORMaltaOur client is seeking a highly motivated individual to join their Auditing Department within thegroup. The successful candidate will actively participate in the day-to-day requirements of thedepartment.Responsibilities:- Assist in planning and executing statutory audits under the supervision of audit seniors.- Conduct audit procedures, including validating the accuracy of financial statements andidentifying areas of audit risk.- Review transactions, documents, records, reports, and methods for accuracy andcompleteness.- Prepare comprehensive audit working papers in a timely manner.- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and other required reports.- Collaborate with external advisors when necessary.- Assist in preparing tax computations and tax returns for clients, ensuring compliance withlocal tax laws and regulations.- Meet work plan specifications and deadlines.- Perform additional duties as assigned.- Collaborate effectively within a team and with other departments in the company.Requirements:- Applicants should possess a university degree in accounting or possess minimum 3 ACCAs- Minimum of 1 years of work experience in a similar role in Malta- Proven ability to quickly grasp new information, processes, and procedures, deliveringquality work under pressure and within deadlines.- Analytical mindset with a problem-solving approach.- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.- Proficient in MS Office applications, especially Excel.- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines, while also thriving in acollaborative team environment.- Strong organizational skills, managing multiple tasks simultaneously.Employment Type: Full-TimeSalary: $ 24,000.00 Per Year
