Junior Auditor

JUNIOR AUDITOR
Malta

Our client is seeking a highly motivated individual to join their Auditing Department within the
group. The successful candidate will actively participate in the day-to-day requirements of the
department.

Responsibilities:
- Assist in planning and executing statutory audits under the supervision of audit seniors.
- Conduct audit procedures, including validating the accuracy of financial statements and
identifying areas of audit risk.
- Review transactions, documents, records, reports, and methods for accuracy and
completeness.
- Prepare comprehensive audit working papers in a timely manner.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and other required reports.
- Collaborate with external advisors when necessary.
- Assist in preparing tax computations and tax returns for clients, ensuring compliance with
local tax laws and regulations.
- Meet work plan specifications and deadlines.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- Collaborate effectively within a team and with other departments in the company.

Requirements:
- Applicants should possess a university degree in accounting or possess minimum 3 ACCAs
- Minimum of 1 years of work experience in a similar role in Malta
- Proven ability to quickly grasp new information, processes, and procedures, delivering
quality work under pressure and within deadlines.
- Analytical mindset with a problem-solving approach.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient in MS Office applications, especially Excel.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines, while also thriving in a
collaborative team environment.
- Strong organizational skills, managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
Employment Type: Full-Time
Salary: $ 24,000.00 Per Year
