Land Acquisition Manager

Location: Malta (with travel across Europe) Industry: Real Estate Development / Land Services Employment Type: Full-time About the Role: R77 is supporting a fast-growing land and real estate development firm in hiring an experienced Land Acquisition Manager. The successful candidate will lead the identification, evaluation, and negotiation of land opportunities across Germany and the wider EMEA region. The role involves sourcing large parcels suitable for residential and commercial development, including large-scale housing and mall projects. The position is based in Malta, with the option to relocate or commute weekly. Key Responsibilities:Identify, evaluate, and pursue strategic land acquisition opportunities.Lead negotiations with landowners, agents, and public sector stakeholders.Manage full due diligence processes (zoning, planning, environmental, legal).Collaborate with internal legal, financial, and technical teams on transaction execution.Track market trends and advise on investment strategy and land value.Build and maintain a strong contact network across European land markets.Represent the company at meetings, site visits, and local planning events. Requirements:5+ years of experience in land acquisition, real estate, or property development.Proven experience in Germany or other EMEA real estate markets.Fluent in English; German language skills are highly desirable.Strong understanding of planning, permitting, and entitlement processes.Exceptional negotiation and relationship-building skills.Willing to travel frequently or relocate/commute to Malta.
