Senior Auditor

Job Summary:

We are looking for a motivated and experienced Audit Senior to lead audit engagements, review clients' accounting procedures, and provide guidance to junior staff members. The ideal candidate will possess excellent analytical and communication skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment.

Main Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement effective audit plans to ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial statements
• Conduct thorough reviews of clients' accounting systems and internal controls
• Mentor and train junior staff members to enhance their technical skills and knowledge
• Analyze financial data and identify areas for improvement
• Prepare and present audit reports to clients and stakeholders

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• ACCA/ACA/CIMA qualified or equivalent
• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in audit and assurance
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Fluency in Maltese and English

Salary and Benefits:

The successful candidate can expect a competitive salary of €50,000 - €60,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits including health insurance, pension scheme, and annual leave.
