Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Restaurant Manager to join our Lifestyle Group. Reporting directly to the Director of Operations, you will oversee all aspects of restaurant management. Your primary goal will be to lead and inspire your team to deliver exceptional customer service while ensuring the restaurant meets its revenue, profitability, and quality targets.

The Job

• Manage daily operations of both Front of House and Back of House, ensuring seamless execution and excellent results.
• Deliver exceptional customer service to maximize satisfaction, fostering a positive reputation for the establishment.
• Efficiently handle customer complaints, addressing concerns and resolving issues promptly.
• Monitor product quality and explore new supplier options to maintain high standards and optimize resources.
• Organize and oversee staff shifts, ensuring adequate coverage and minimizing waste.
• Evaluate staff performance and provide constructive feedback to boost productivity and employee engagement.
• Forecast and manage inventory needs for kitchen supplies and cleaning products, optimizing costs and reducing waste.
• Ensure adherence to sanitation and safety regulations, maintaining a clean and safe environment for customers and staff.
• Uphold and enhance the restaurant's image, suggesting improvements to maintain a competitive edge.
• Control operational costs, identifying opportunities for reduction and implementing cost-saving strategies.
• Prepare detailed reports on weekly, monthly, and annual financial performance, providing insights for informed decision-making.
• Promote the brand within the local community through events and word-of-mouth marketing, expanding the customer base.
• Develop strategies to reach a wider audience, including discounts and social media campaigns, to increase visibility and attract new customers.
• Train and develop both new and existing staff on customer service excellence, enhancing the overall guest experience.
• Comply with all health and safety regulations, prioritizing the well-being of customers and staff.

Qualifications & Skills

• Proven experience in customer service, demonstrating expertise in delivering exceptional experiences.
• Strong knowledge of Food & Beverage (F&B) operations, including menu planning and inventory management.
• Proficiency in written and spoken English, ensuring effective communication with staff and customers.
• Competency in Microsoft Office applications, including data analysis and reporting.
• Effective management, leadership, and motivational skills, inspiring teams to achieve excellence.
• Strong financial management acumen, optimizing costs and improving profitability.
