Chief Data Steward

As a Data Governance Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our organization's data management practices. Your primary responsibility will be to collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and document all data processing activities, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

You will work closely with the Data Governance Lead to maintain accurate records of data processing activities, system inventory, and data flows. Additionally, you will be responsible for conducting thorough Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs) and Legitimate Interest Assessments (LIAs), as well as identifying GDPR and data protection compliance gaps in both new and existing processes.

Your expertise will be crucial in developing actionable mitigation plans to address these gaps, ensuring seamless integration with daily business practices. You will also serve as a liaison between data owners, technical teams, legal, and compliance to guarantee data governance principles are applied consistently.

We are seeking an experienced professional with a strong background in data governance, data protection, or a related field. Relevant experience in Agile environments and proficiency in Excel and analysis techniques are highly desirable.
