Electrical Vehicle Systems Technician

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Vehicle Systems Technician to join our team at Outreach Recruitment Agency. This is a full-time opportunity that offers a competitive salary and excellent benefits.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out de-energisation and re-energisation of the high voltage system, ensuring it is truly disconnected. They will also diagnose issues with the high voltage system and its components, perform replacement of high voltage components as per manufacturers specifications, and document repairs and diagnosis performed on job cards.

Responsibilities:

• Carry out de-energisation and re-energisation of the high voltage system and ensure that the high voltage system is truly disconnected
• Diagnose issues on the high voltage system and its components
• Perform replacement of high voltage components as per manufacturers specifications
• Document repairs and diagnosis performed on job cards
• Perform repairs as per repair manuals and using special tools required to safely conduct the repair
• Make proper use of tools and equipment, including personal protective clothing provided
• Keep the work area clean and tidy to promote and maintain a safe working environment
• Adhere strictly to the health and safety regulations and company standards

Requirements:

• Qualification as a Motor Vehicle Technician
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Computer literacy
• Mechanical knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair and maintenance
• English language knowledge of the structure and content of the English language, including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition and grammar
