Technical Assistant Manager

Our client, operating in the marine technical field, is looking for a Technical Assistant Manager to assist the Technical Director in the daily operations.

Key Responsibilities

Coordinating technical requests/requirements, analysing them, and categorizing accordingly
Assisting with drafting of reports for customers
Assisting with analysing engine parameters and diagnosing possible engine issues
Assisting with Reviewing of engineer's service reports
Provide suggestions to help improve technical processes.
Assisting with creating training documents to be published and used in training school.
Carryout training on turbocharger overhauls in workshop and onboard vessels
Providing assistance onboard to engineers of their turbocharger works as required.
Participate in projects and pursuit working meetings to provide technical input.
Participate in internal meetings and activities and provide support as may be requested and/or delegated.
Support knowledge management processes within the project.

Requirements
Previous experience in marine engines or turbochargers is a must
Candidates having relevant engineering qualifications are preferred
Knowledge of turbocharger principles, product ranges and repair techniques with the ability to produce reports would be advantageous
Excellent communication skills in English

Must be able to relocate to Malta
