Payments Operations Officer

Responsibilities:

Oversee and process daily payments, including manual, single, batch, urgent payments via SEPA, SWIFT, and third-party providers.
Ensure all transactions meet internal/external rules, cut-off times, and product requirements.
Act as the liaison with cards and lending teams, correspondent banks, and third-party payment providers for payment-related issues.
Generate daily reports for reconciliation purposes and assist with invoicing and settlements from banks and payment providers.
Handle daily reconciliations related to payments and ensure compliance with the company’s payment policies.
Assist in documenting operational procedures and contribute ideas for improving systems and processes.
Perform ad hoc tasks as assigned by the Payments Manager.

Skills:

Ordinary/Advanced level qualifications or equivalent experience in a similar operational role within financial services.
Proficiency in English
Strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to manage time and prioritize tasks effectively.
Solid knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly MS Excel.
