Job Description
On behalf of our client, Manpower Malta is seeking to recruit a Payroll Executive to join a leading FMCG company. Reporting directly to the Payroll Manager , the selected candidate will be responsible for the accurate and timely processing of payroll while ensuring compliance with local legislation and internal procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Process end-to-end payroll for 300+ employees on a monthly basis.
- Utilize Shireburn Indigo Payroll Software to manage payroll operations efficiently and accurately.
- Calculate salaries, overtime, bonuses, allowances, commissions, deductions, and statutory contributions.
- Ensure payroll is processed accurately and within established deadlines.
- Maintain and update employee payroll records, ensuring all information is accurate and confidential.
- Prepare payroll reports, reconciliations, and supporting documentation as required.
- Respond to employee payroll queries in a professional and timely manner.
- Liaise with HR and Finance teams regarding new hires, terminations, salary amendments, leave records, and other payroll-related changes.
- Ensure compliance with Maltese employment legislation, tax regulations, and social security requirements.
- Support audits and assist with payroll-related reporting obligations. Requirements
- A minimum of 2 years' experience in payroll administration, preferably processing 300+ payslips per month.
- Previous experience using Shireburn Indigo is highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of Maltese payroll legislation, taxation, and social security regulations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Preferred Qualifications
- A qualification in Payroll, Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or a related field will be considered an asset.
- Experience within an FMCG or high-volume payroll environment is preferred. What's on Offer
