The School of Business & Management Malta is seeking to appoint an experienced and proactive Centre Head to oversee the day-to-day operations of the campus. The successful candidate will ensure the efficient delivery of academic and administrative services while maintaining high standards of operational excellence, student support, and regulatory compliance.
Responsibilities
• Manage the daily operations of the campus, ensuring the smooth delivery of academic, administrative, and student support services.
• Ensure compliance with institutional policies, health and safety, safeguarding, and quality assurance requirements.
• Oversee campus facilities, maintenance, security, and liaise with external contractors when required.
• Supervise and support administrative and operational staff, managing workloads, performance, and development.
• Monitor the campus budget and ensure efficient use of resources.
• Work closely with academic teams to support programme delivery and enhance the student experience.
• Prepare regular operational reports and maintain accurate records.
• Coordinate classroom allocation, timetabling, and campus resources.
• Support student recruitment activities and community engagement initiatives.
• Represent the campus at internal meetings and with external stakeholders when required.
• Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and service delivery.
• Undertake any other duties assigned by the Senior Leadership Team. Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, Education, or a related discipline (Master's degree desirable).
• Proven experience in a Centre Manager, Campus Manager, Operations Manager, or similar leadership role within an educational environment.
• Strong leadership and people management skills with the ability to motivate and develop teams.
• Experience managing campus operations, facilities, budgets, and administrative services.
• Good understanding of health and safety, safeguarding, and quality assurance requirements.
• Excellent organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and experience using student information or CRM systems.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, work under pressure, and maintain high standards of service.
• Commercial awareness with the ability to support student recruitment and institutional growth.
