The Role
KPMG Malta is currently seeking for an Audit Senior to join our Audit Function.
In this role, you will work alongside a highly skilled team of audit professionals, supporting a diverse portfolio of clients across various industries. You will have the opportunity to work on interesting and challenging projects, collaborate with colleagues across the KPMG global network, and further develop your technical knowledge and leadership skills within one of the world's leading audit and professional services firms.
Key Responsibilities
As an Audit Senior, you will: Form part of specialized teams in the audits of entities involved in a variety of industries present in Malta including but not limited to financial institutions, gaming and private enterprise; Provide training to other less experienced staff on International Standards on Auditing, International Financial Reporting Standards and of global methodologies in use by network firms as part of professional services Provide training to others in the use of specialized KPMG software tools; Form part of the Firm’s focus teams specializing in specific areas of accounting and auditing expertise; and Interact with other KPMG professionals within the local and network firms as well as the interaction with other professionals emanating from other disciplines in order to be able to provide and support in the delivery of audit engagements. Required Qualifications and Skills a qualified accountant, holding a CPA, ACCA, CA, or equivalent professional qualification. Minimum 2 years’ experience within the external audit practice within the Big 4 Audit Firms Preferred Qualifications and Skills Strong eye-for-detail, verbal and written English communication skills Demonstrate strong professionalism, integrity, and discretion, with the ability to handle confidential information sensitively while consistently delivering high-quality results within agreed timelines Proactive, career-driven team player with excellent organisational and time management skills, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to continuous professional development About KPMG in Malta Multicultural with diversity at the core, employing over 650 employees offering a flexible workplace to our people – KPMG in Malta is a global people-focused audit, tax and advisory firm thriving on a high-performing and trust culture.
