WAREHOUSE ASSOCIATE | JYSK MALTA As a Warehouse Associate, you’ll play a key role in keeping the store’s logistics running smoothly. You’ll unload, store, and retrieve merchandise in the store’s backroom, helping ensure products are organised and accessible. • Receive and inspect incoming supplies.
• Maintain accurate stock quantity records and store goods appropriately.
• Support Sales Assistants with information about items in stock.
• Maintain the store area through general upkeep and housekeeping.
• Unload, store, and retrieve merchandise while following safe working practices. The role involves substantial physical effort, including lifting, pulling, and moving merchandise and supplies of varying sizes. You’ll handle items weighing up to 20 kg without assistance and items over 21 kg through team lifting. WHAT YOU SHOULD BRING
• The ability to operate a pallet jack and other warehouse equipment.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• The ability to work independently and ask for assistance when needed.
• Proficiency in spoken and written English and Maltese.
• Enthusiasm and an enjoyment of engaging with customers.
• A supportive team attitude and a willingness to collaborate to achieve excellent results.
• Flexibility with tasks and working schedules. Previous retail experience, preferably in the furniture sector, will be considered an asset.
