Associate, Immigration

https://ccmalta.bamboohr.com/careers/179?source=aWQ9MzU%3D The main purpose of this role is to provide support within the Immigration & Global Mobility Practice in advising and assisting private clients on the various immigration routes which the firm offers. The associate will also provide support by continuing in developing existing services the firm offers as well as develop new ones as per the vision of the firm and market requirements. This position also calls for actively handling clients as necessary, and building and submitting applications under various immigration programmes. Responsibilities
• Advising private families in matters related to investment programmes, residence and citizenship, due diligence and other matters.
• Assisting with certification of documents required for immigration applications.
• Assisting with registering documents at the Malta Public Registry.
• Assisting with the drafting of legal memos.
• Assisting with submission of work permit applications.
• Liaising with local immigration and tax authorities, on behalf of clients
• Contributing to content writing in terms of news, publications, product pages and journals. Skills
• Law degree, with Maltese warrant
• Interest in Immigration Law
• Excellent written and spoken English and Maltese
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Outlook/Office,
• Previous experience considered an asset
• A pro-active approach
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Outstanding organizational and leadership skills
