The VNA Driver is responsible to transfer and store pallets to and from VNA racking as directed by the Warehouse Supervisor and Checkers.
Responsibilities:
- Operate the VNA Trucks and Counterbalance Forklift Trucks in a safe manner, following the traffic management plan.
- Place pallets in their designated area.
- Ensure that FEFO stock rotation is observed when retrieving pallets from VNA racking.
- Ensure that all products are scanned while moving the same pallet from one zone to another. By scanning the VNA driver confirms the receipt/issue of goods as defined through the scanning process.
- Fill in the daily equipment checklist before usage.
- Report any damages/fault to the equipment.
- Ensure that the equipment is always kept in a clean condition.
- Assist as necessary in warehousing related tasks including loading and unloading of trucks.
Qualification:
- Secondary School Education
- Driving Licence Category B
- Forklift Operation Course
- Experience in a similar role would be considered an asset
Skills:
- Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations
- Computer literate
- Comfortable working at heights
- Ability to read and write in English
