Job Description
The Technical Lead FPSO will lead the review and development of Integrated Management System (IMS) documentation for Floating Production, Storage and Offloading operations. Working remotely within the consultancy project team, the role provides operational and technical expertise to technical writers, facilitates document review sessions with client subject matter experts, and ensures that procedures, work instructions and management system documents are technically accurate, practical for offshore personnel and compliant with relevant regulatory, class and industry standards. The role reports to the Hiring Manager and is responsible for the technical quality and accuracy of all IMS deliverables over the 6-month engagement.

Certifications and Licenses: |
|
Bachelor’s degree in Marine, Mechanical, Process or Petroleum Engineering (or equivalent offshore experience) |
|
Working knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001; IMS Lead Auditor certification preferred |
|
Familiarity with ISM Code, IMO requirements and class rules (DNV, ABS or BV) applicable to FPSOs |
|
Offshore safety training (BOSIET/FOET, HUET) – desirable for potential site visits |
|
Professional membership (e.g., IMarEST, Energy Institute) or Chartered Engineer status – desirable |
