Main Duties:

  • Accurately calculate wages, bonuses, deductions, and adjustments for all employees.
  • Maintain and update employee data, including new hires, terminations, and changes in employment conditions.
  • Handle payroll-related queries and ensure timely issue resolution.
  • Manage leave, sickness, and absences in collaboration with HR.
  • Ensure compliance with employment, tax, and social security regulations.
  • Prepare and submit payroll reports and statutory filings.
  • Assist in improving payroll procedures and ensuring efficiency across processes.

What skills do you need:

  • Diploma in Accounting, Finance, HR, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in payroll administration or a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of Maltese employment and tax legislation.
  • Excellent command of English (Maltese is considered an asset).
  • Advanced MS Excel skills and high attention to detail.
  • Team player with good communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience with payroll software will be considered an asset.

Eligibility to work in the EU is a must
