Cloud Solutions Engineer

About the Role:

We are looking for a Cloud Solutions Engineer who is fluent in AWS and has strong communication skills in English. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, client-facing environment and enjoys combining technical know-how with real-world business impact.

You will be responsible for laying the technical groundwork during client engagements, before handing over to the technical sales team. This role also requires the ability to code and a willingness to travel regularly to meet clients and support project deployments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the initial technical point of contact during client discussions
• Support the sales process by providing technical insight and building trust with potential customers.
• Translate business needs into scalable, cloud-based architectural solutions (primarily in AWS).
• Develop and present demos or prototypes to stakeholders.
• Work closely with the Tech Sales team to ensure seamless handover and continuity
• Write clean, efficient, and testable code as part of solution development or integration.
• Travel to client sites across Europe and internationally as needed

Requirements:

• Strong proficiency in AWS and cloud architecture best practices
• Comfortable coding in at least one modern programming language (e.g. Python, JavaScript, Go, etc.)
• Excellent communication skills in English; able to confidently engage with clients
• Previous experience in a client-facing technical or consulting role
• Willingness and ability to travel frequently for client engagements

Preferred:

• Experience working alongside sales or pre-sales teams
• Background in SaaS, fintech, or cloud-based enterprise software
