Overview

Manpower is seeking to recruit a Manufacturing Engineer to join our client's team in the food manufacturing sector. The selected candidate will report to the Lead Manufacturing Engineer and will become the subject matter expert for a designated asset group, ensuring optimal performance, safety, and sustainability of production equipment and processes.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Monitor production line performance and follow up on deviations to maintain process control.
  • Develop and implement data-driven maintenance plans to improve asset reliability.
  • Lead root cause analysis and propose continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Manage cross-functional projects related to equipment and process optimization.
  • Support product development through prototyping, testing, and qualification.
  • Prepare documentation for project handover to production, including training materials.
  • Promote a strong health and safety culture, ensuring compliance with all safety protocols.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace in line with 5S principles.
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelors degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering.
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience, ideally in a food manufacturing environment.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Familiarity with food packaging and/or processing equipment.
    • Knowledge of GMP, HACCP, Safe Food Handling, and HSE guidelines.
    • Proficiency in AutoCAD and project management techniques.
    • Experience in developing and optimizing procedures and processes.
  • Competencies:
    • Strong leadership and teamwork abilities.
    • Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
    • Effective verbal and written communication.
    • Action-oriented and organized approach to work.
