Administrator - Aerodrome Safeguarding

Purpose of Position:

The main purpose of this role is to support the Aerodrome Safeguarding Unit team in ensuring the safe and timely processing of aeronautical data and information, to maintain accuracy and currency.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Providing direct support to the Aerodrome Safeguarding Unit in assuring safe and efficient operation of the aerodrome and terminal facilities.
• Assist in the processing of Aeronautical Information and Aerodrome Safeguarding Work Permits.
• Track NOTAMs and Aerodrome Safeguarding Work Permits for validity and compliance checks.
• Compile work checklists based on the operational and safety measures detailed within Safety Assessments.
• Contribute to the implementation of Aeronautical Data Quality processes in line with the Aeronautical Data Quality Management System.
• Contribute to the outcome of findings raised by the Operations Lead Auditor.
• Participate in the implementation of the Operations Department safety oversight processes.
• Reviewing compliance with operational safety procedures and regularly report on safety performance to higher management.
• Perform ad hoc airside and landside inspections to verify compliance with aerodrome safety procedures.
• Ro attend training both local and external as may be required by the Company.
• To participate in meetings related to Aerodrome Safeguarding.

Requirements

Qualifications & Skills

• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Must have a minimum of an MQF Level 5 certification.
• Proficient user of the Microsoft Office suite.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD
• Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills.
