Senior Accountant

Remuneration: Salary + bonus + benefits
Main Duties:
- Ensure business transactions are reported in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
- Work closely with the finance team to support the month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Assist with the annual audit process, including the preparation of IFRS financial statements and related notes.
- Review and recommend improvements to accounting systems and procedures.
- Supervise and support junior accountants within the team.
- Research and analyse expense variances and provide insights to management.
- Prepare VAT returns and ensure all related VAT compliance submissions are completed accurately and on time.
What skills do you need:
- A fully qualified Accountant (ie. Acca qualified or Masters in Accounts)
- Proven experience as a Senior Accountant.
- Previous experience within a Big 4 firm and/or international group structures will be considered an asset.
- Strong knowledge of accounting procedures and in-depth understanding of IFRS.
- Hands-on experience with accounting software (such as SAP or Navision).
- Advanced MS Excel skills, including VLOOKUPs and pivot tables.
Eligibility to work in the EU is a must
