Hyatt Regency Malta is currently seeking a dedicated and professional Restaurant Manager to join its Food & Beverage team.
The Restaurant Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the restaurant while ensuring exceptional service standards are consistently delivered. This role involves managing and supporting the food and beverage team, coordinating with kitchen staff, and ensuring smooth service at all times. The Restaurant Manager monitors table settings, service flow, and overall guest satisfaction, while also handling staff scheduling, training, and performance. Anticipating guest needs, upholding brand standards, and maintaining strong communication across departments are key to this role, making it an excellent opportunity to lead and develop a high-performing hospitality team.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Coordinate daily Front of House and Back of House restaurant operations.
- Manage day-to-day operations so that customer expectations of quality and standards are met daily.
- Analyze and plan restaurant sales and profitability.
- Set and manage budgets, while working hand in hand with senior management and on own initiative.
- Activate specific brand strategies geared toward the guest experience.
- Actively participate in the hiring process to identify the right talent to support the outlet's concept
- Provide the leadership, vision, and direction to bring together and prioritize the departmental goals in a way that will be efficient and effective.
- Appraise staff performance and provide feedback to improve productivity.
- Manage staffing levels to meet guest service standards, operational needs, and financial objectives.
- Guide the growth and development of your team to support both business objectives and personal career progression of those you manage.
- Create detailed reports on weekly, monthly, and annual revenues and expenses.
- Uphold uncompromising standards of cleanliness throughout the restaurant and bar.
- Implement policies and protocols that will maintain future restaurant operations.
- Follow F&B policies, procedures, and service standards.
- Ensure that the restaurant follows all the applicable regulations and legislations.
- Carry out and follow all safety and sanitization policies when handling food and beverage.
