One of the largest ship registration service providers in Malta, specialising in commercial vessels, is looking for a Shipping Finance Clerk to join their growing team. The selected candidate will form part of a dynamic team and will be handling an internationally diversified portfolio.
The role offers a salary of €25K.
Kindly note that fluency in Maltese is a non-negotiable requirement for this role.
Role and Responsibilities
- Managing and prioritising invoice generation
- Following up on outstanding payments
- Preparing invoices and ensuring timely settlement
- Handling client queries related to invoicing and coordinating resolutions
- Providing general support to the shipping department, including tasks such as issuing vessel and crew certificates, filing, and archiving
Skills and Experience
- A-level education
- Previous experience in a similar role is considered a plus
- Excellent spoken and written Maltese and English (non-negotiable)
- Proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel, and Outlook
- Organised, detail-oriented, and able to work under pressure
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team
