The Senior SEO Strategist is responsible for developing, executing, and optimizing a forward-thinking SEO strategy on key products. This role ensures that all key products align with modern organic search best practices; driving qualified traffic, improving visibility, and maintaining resilience across Google's evolving algorithms.

Key focus areas include strategy building and execution, knowledge of technical, on-page, and off-page SEO, AI Search Engine Optimization, and continuous adaptation to the latest search and AI-driven developments shaping the organic ecosystem.

The role forms part of a multi-marketing squad, working closely with content, product, tech, and other acquisition channels, playing a crucial role in supporting the generation of qualified leads and leading in search brand visibility.

YOUR CHALLENGE:

Plan, develop, and implement SEO strategies that align with business goals, KPIs, and the evolving search landscape.

Collaborate with the squad, and ensure that SEO is taking a leading role in lead acquisition, and helping to support business goals.

Key areas of focus and responsibilities include:

  • Maintain technical site health, including understanding code, optimized URLs, HTTPS, mobile experience, structured data, and fast load times, meeting Core Web Vitals thresholds.
  • Strengthen on-page optimization through keyword research, topic clustering, content structure, internal linking, schema, and improved user intent alignment.
  • Experience, Expertise, Authoritativeness, and Trust (E-E-A-T): Ensure all product sites communicate credibility and transparency through author signals, sourcing, and topical authority.
  • Continuously refine inbound link strategies with ethical, relationship-based link acquisition and digital PR initiatives.
  • Lead audits, reporting, and recommendations to maintain organic growth across all partner properties.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Content, UX, Analytics, and Product teams to integrate SEO into all digital touchpoints.
  • Prioritize optimization initiatives based on ROI, revenue potential, and ranking opportunity.
  • Mentor SEO team members, fostering technical excellence and growth.
  • Have a responsive attitude towards SEO, considering the modern fast fast-paced setting, focusing on lead-based activity, competitor analysis, and identifying trends in the North American and other global market gambling affiliation spaces.

TO DO IT, YOU WILL NEED:

  • Minimum 5 years of SEO or performance marketing experience, preferably across large-scale or multi-domain ecosystems.
  • Demonstrated ability to design and deliver SEO strategies that achieve measurable growth in rankings, traffic, and conversions.
  • Deep understanding of Google's ranking systems, including Core Updates, Helpful Content, and Page Experience metrics.
  • Advanced knowledge of Google Analytics 4, Google Search Console, Ahrefs, Accuranker, Screaming Frog
  • Experience with WordPress, Blox, or headless CMS platforms.
  • Familiarity with AI-assisted SEO workflows (e.g., SurferSEO, ChatGPT).
  • Excellent leadership, communication, reporting, and data analysis skills.
  • Experience in gambling and sports betting is preferable.
  • Experience in affiliation preferred.
