We are currently seeking a Head of Shared Service to join our team.

The Job

  • Responsible for the technical framework within the finance function.
  • Design and implement controls and systematic reviews.
  • Ensure compliance with reporting regulations and governance requirements.
  • Play a key role in the implementation and strategic development of finance systems.
  • Bring significant experience in developing financial operations within a growing business.
  • Act as the owner of group-wide transactional finance operations.
  • Develop a framework for the efficient delivery of transactional finance services.
  • Drive efficiency, cost savings, and continuous improvement in transactional services.
  • Develop and monitor KPIs and SLAs to ensure high-quality service to the business.
  • Identify and resolve process issues at the source.
  • Drive continued professionalisation and business growth.

Job Requirements

  • Extensive experience leading a Shared Services function, preferably within a multinational or rapidly growing business.
  • Strong expertise in transactional finance operations (AP, AR, payroll, etc.) and related systems.
  • Proven track record in designing and implementing scalable processes, controls, and governance frameworks.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive efficiency, standardisation, and automation in finance operations.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills, with experience in developing high-performing teams.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence at senior levels.
  • Experience in setting and monitoring KPIs and SLAs to ensure service excellence.
  • Strong project/change management capabilities, including system implementation and process transformation.
  • Professional finance qualification (ACCA, CIMA, ACA or equivalent) is highly desirable.
  • Commercial mindset with the ability to align shared services strategy to overall business growth.
