Job Summary: As a Reservations Manager, you will be responsible for all activities relevant to Reservations including assisting with enquiries and bookings, liaising with key departments, establishing strong relationships with our clients, and displaying exceptional phone and customer service skills.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Assist in reviewing pick-up trends, occupancy history and market segment development to facilitate Budget and Forecast accuracy.
• Liaising with Melia revenue services on competitor analysis, local market trends and revising hotel rates.
• Cross checking & updating all new reservations, and address daily cancellations and no shows.
• Ensuring daily reservations and group enquiries are followed up in a timely manner.
• Controlling rooms inventory including wholesale allocations and overbooking scenarios appropriately.
• Mentoring and leading a small team of Reservations Agents to success.
• Reconciling reservations daily commissions.
• Loading and maintaining rates in Melia Guest Reservations System.

What are we looking for?

• Extensive experience using Opera PMS is essential.
• Previous experience in a Reservations/Front Office Management or Supervisory role.
• Comprehensive understanding of hotel systems.
• The ability to manage time efficiently with competing deadlines.
• The ability to liaise professionally in all aspects of the role, including excellent telephone and email etiquette.
• Experience using the Microsoft Office suite.
