Malta International Airport plc is looking for dynamic individuals who are passionate about working with people within an Airport environment, and are willing to continuously learn, develop, and be part of a high-performance culture. This vacancy has arisen within the Customer Services Department on a full-time basis.
Purpose of position:
Deliver effective training to both new and existing customer service staff to help improve individual or team performance, ensuring that resources have received the knowledge and information needed to be able to deliver service excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, schedule and deliver all training sessions for new and existing Customer Services employees.
- Prepare training content in line with set training objectives.
- Coordinate any onboarding requirements of new trainees together with Customer Services Manager and Human Resources department.
- Stay up to date with operational requirements, internal communications, standard operating procedures and other policies and guidelines ensuring that the training content remains accurate and latest.
- Provide the needed guidance and mentoring to the departments' training buddies.
- Share regular updates on training progress, produce end-of-training assessments or evaluations, reporting on training effectiveness and staff preparedness.
- Work closely with Customer Services Manager to schedule annual training plans in line with department and company objectives.
- Assist in the shortlisting and selection of training programs and training suppliers.
- Maintain staff training records, reporting on employee development over time.
- Help identify individual or team skill gaps, understanding specific training requirements targeted towards personal development or improved service delivery.
- Act as the department primary contact for the implementation and update of training platforms, such as 'Docebo'.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by the company from time to time.
Requirements
- Promote a strong service culture.
- People-oriented, confident, and experienced in coaching and mentoring
- Experience in designing and delivering effective training programmes
- Experience in delivering training sessions
- Proactive, hands-on, with a continuous improvement mindset
- Candidate must already be based in Malta, with the legal right to work in Malta
- Must hold an excellent level of written and verbal English
- Ability to manage multiple tasks with tight deadlines in fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in documentation and learning tools
- Train the trainer certification is preferred
