Carpenter / Building Fabrics Tradesperson

Mekanika is a leading operator in the Building and Engineering Services Industry, specializing in mechanical and electrical contracting, HVAC solutions, lifts and escalators, industrial products and facilities management.

Due to continued growth, we are seeking to recruit a skilled Carpenter / Building Fabric Tradesperson to join our team.

Working as part of an existing team, the selected candidate will be expected to carry out a wide range of carpentry and related building fabric works, including:

• Fabrication, installation, and repair of wooden doors, windows, frames, and partitions.
• Construction, fitting, and finishing of cabinets, counters, shelving, and other bespoke joinery.
• Repair and maintenance of timber flooring, skirting, architraves, and panelling.
• Gypsum/drywall installations and ceiling works.
• Installation of door hardware, locks, hinges, and handles.
• General installations and repairs on building finishes.
• Carrying out preventive maintenance and ensuring works are completed to a high standard of safety and workmanship.

The selected candidate will preferably:

• Have at least 3 years' previous experience in a similar role within the Building Service Industry.
• Be proficient in the use of hand and power tools and able to interpret technical drawings and measurements.
• Have a good command of the English language.
• Show a strong commitment to quality, customer satisfaction, and workplace safety.
• Be self-motivated, reliable, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
• Possess an honest and mature personality with a professional approach to work.
