We're looking for a skilled Pizzaiolo to bring authentic flavor and flair to our kitchen team at Hard Rock Hotel Malta, where every pizza is a performance.

Your Mission

As our Pizzaiolo you'll lead the art of pizza-making, from dough to delivery, ensuring every guest gets a slice of something unforgettable.

What You'll Do

  • Preparing high-end pizzas using traditional techniques and modern style
  • Working with hybrid ovens to bring out the best in every bite
  • Developing standout pizza specials and Mediterranean-inspired menus
  • Ensuring hygiene and safety standards are always on point
  • Supporting team development and mentoring junior chefs
  • Collaborating across departments to deliver unforgettable guest experiences
  • Playing a key role in large-scale banquets, events and themed culinary promotions

What We're Looking For

  • Has 2+ years' experience as a pizzaiolo and Mediterranean chef, ideally in luxury or high-volume environments
  • Is skilled with wood-fired or hybrid ovens and traditional pizza-making methods
  • Brings deep knowledge of Mediterranean cuisine, ingredients and presentation
  • Can manage kitchen operations, staff training and food cost efficiency
  • Holds certifications in HACCP and food safety
  • Communicates well in English (Italian is a plus)
  • Has energy, creativity and precision worthy of the spotlight
