Reporting directly to the Chief Technology Officer, the chosen candidate will be responsible for overseeing the completion of projects carried out by Route Mobile Malta and associated sister companies. Good understanding of the customer and technical setup and product functionality are necessary to meet requirements and internal and external customer expectations.

Duties and Responsibilities

​

  • Develop a project plan from project initiation to project closure.
  • Perform expert-level project management of estimating, scheduling, and monitoring tasks. 
  • Conduct and participate in regular project reviews and reports program status both internally to executive level management and externally to the customer and suppliers.
  • Define and co-ordinate resource planning, activity planning, and sequencing.
  • Identify and manage risks and issues.
  • Manage a demand process in order to schedule all projects with the desired priority.
  • Use various IT systems to keep track of projects.
  • Ensure compliance to internal and customer quality processes and SOPs
  • Responsible for deploying the systems in line with "Information Technology Security policies and procedures" of 365 and Customer
  • Ensure project documentation as per quality requirements.

​Requirements

​

  • At least 5 years' experience in project management, preferably in Telecomunications.
  • Customer driven and team player with strong interpersonal and customer facing skills.
  • Excellent organizational and analytical skills, process and detailed oriented, a self-starter who is highly motivated to obtain goals and results.
  • Demonstrated ability to pro-actively and effectively communicate and manage complex projects.  
  • Actasfinalpointofescalationforprojectimplementation,complaints, andresolution.
  • Ability to work with customers and suppliers in multiple time zones, and under deadline pressure.
  • Ability to lead and manage technical professionals.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of executives, managers, partners and subject matter experts.
  • Must be able to work and prioritise in a fast-paced changing environment while coordinating multiple complex projects simultaneously.
  • Demonstrated ability to produce clear and concise project documentation.
  • Must be able to effectively manage client expectations and escalations.
  • Ensure smooth handover of Customer to Technology Support Team, post go-live.
  • Ability to work either independently or as part of a larger team.
  • Proficient in MS Word, MS Excel, MS Project, MS PowerPoint, and Visio.
  • Preferred PMP certificated professional.
  • ​Proficiency in Spanish is considered an advantage.
