Manpower Malta is seeking to recruit a Payables Finance Executive to join our client's team.

Overview:

The selected candidate will support the Financial Controller in ensuring the accurate processing of supplier invoices, timely payments, and effective reconciliation of accounts within a hotel finance environment. This position plays a vital role in maintaining strong vendor relationships and ensuring financial accuracy.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and process payment runs, including cheques, electronic transfers, and standing orders, ensuring proper authorization and adherence to payment terms.

  • Maintain accurate creditor records and perform bi-weekly reporting to management on outstanding payables and allocations.

  • Reconcile supplier statements, investigate discrepancies, and follow up on outstanding items.

  • Assist with month-end and year-end procedures, including accruals, reconciliations, and audit preparations.

  • Liaise with suppliers and internal departments to resolve payment or invoice issues promptly.

Key Requirements:

  • 2-5 years of experience in hotel finance or accounts payable.

  • Strong proficiency in hotel accounting systems and Microsoft Excel.

  • Excellent attention to detail, analytical mindset, and organizational skills.

  • Strong communication and negotiation skills with vendors.

  • Ability to multitask and perform effectively in a fast-paced environment.
