Hudson Group is an international retailer and distributor primarily involved in the sport and fashion wear sectors. The Group's head office is in Malta but is also present through offices in Italy, Cyprus, Morocco, Nigeria and Algeria.

Though Hudson Holdings was founded in 2006, the Group's roots reach as far back as 1987 when the first pair of NIKE was sold in Malta.

Role Purpose
Reporting to the Applications Lead, as a IT Junior Business Applications Specialist, you will support the coordination and development of the ERP system and other business applications within the Hudson ecosystem, which are currently being implemented. Your key objective is to assist in improving business operations and ensuring alignment with the requirements of various teams and stakeholders across the organization.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Support the ERP system and its users by helping to coordinate system updates, logging issues, and maintaining user access.
  • Assist in reviewing current business processes and identifying areas where the ERP can help streamline operations.
  • Help configure and test ERP features and participate in data entry and workflow setup during system implementation.
  • Support with system updates or changes, under the guidance of senior team members or vendors.
  • Provide basic user support and training and assist in creating documentation and guides for staff.
  • Manage user accounts and permissions in the ERP system to maintain data security.
  • Assist in communication and coordination with external vendors and service providers.
  • Work with internal departments and key users to understand needs and support their use of the ERP system.

Skills, Knowledge & Experience:

  • Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 2 years of experience in a similar role, or relevant internship/training experience.
  • Basic knowledge of ERP systems and business workflows.
  • Understanding of SaaS platforms and general IT principles.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication skills with both technical and non-technical users.
  • Familiarity with SQL or reporting tools is a plus.
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and eager to learn.
  • Fluent in English, written and verbal.
  • Team player and able to follow direction from senior colleagues.
