Warehouse Assistant

We are seeking a reliable and proactive Warehouse Assistant to support day-to-day operations in our warehouse. This role involves maintaining equipment, managing stock, preparing freezers for delivery, and occasionally assisting with deliveries. Ideal candidates will be hands-on, organized, and willing to learn new skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure the warehouse is clean, organized, and safe at all times.
• Regularly clean and maintain freezers to company standards.
• Monitor and manage parts stock levels, notifying management when restocking is required.
• Carry out basic maintenance and repairs on freezers under supervision or training.
• Learn and assist with tasks such as applying tinted glass and other customizations for freezers.
• Test freezers to ensure functionality and quality before delivery.
• Assist in planning delivery routes and contact clients to confirm delivery details.
• Help with loading freezers and parts onto delivery trucks.
• Act as a helper during deliveries when required, assisting the delivery team onsite.

Requirements:

• Previous warehouse or logistics experience is a plus but not required
• Physically fit and able to lift/move equipment
• Willingness to learn technical aspects of freezer maintenance
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Good communication skills, especially when interacting with clients
• Valid driver's license is a plus
