Adjunct Instructor

Kishwaukee College seeks adjunct faculty member to teach the sections of the Fitness Challenge courses PE 140 and PE 141. These courses focus on providing a personal fitness program for students utilizing cardiovascular and resistance exercise equipment through the College Wellness Center and Kishwaukee YMCA . Each 1 credit hour course have the capacity for 30 students.
Physical Demands
This position requires a pre and post assessment of students' fitness abilities as well as periodic consultations with students as requested. D2L is required as the primary mechanism for communication with students
Required Qualifications
· BS in PE, Health, or related field · Fitness Certification will be considered with prior work experience in fitness training. · Prior Coaching experience preferred · Strong interpersonal skills and positive energy regarding professional education · Established ability to work effectively as a team member · Demonstrate excellent verbal, written and electronic communication skills · CPR certification recommended
