At Hard Rock Hotel, we're looking for a dynamic Complex Director of Security to lead our Security, Safety and Surveillance teams with energy, integrity and rockstar-level dedication.

Your Mission

As Complex Director of Security, you'll be the driving force behind our security and safety strategy, leading a team that keeps our hotel and guests safe while supporting the vibrant Hard Rock culture.

What You'll Do

  • Lead, motivate, and develop the Security, Safety, and Surveillance departments to deliver outstanding results
  • Ensure strict compliance with all laws, regulations and Hard Rock policies
  • Develop and implement strategic plans for security and safety across the complex
  • Manage budgets, including equipment, labor and capital expenses
  • Oversee investigations, emergency preparedness and disaster recovery planning
  • Collaborate with external security teams for special events and VIP protection
  • Maintain strong relationships with local and federal authorities and first responders
  • Work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends and holidays to keep the rhythm going

What We're Looking For

  • Minimum 4 years of leadership experience in Security, Safety, Surveillance or related fields, including at least 2 years in senior management
  • Luxury hotel experience preferred
  • Expert knowledge of hospitality-related laws and regulatory requirements
  • Proven skills in investigations, interrogation and compliance
  • Experience in purchasing, inventory and cost controls
  • Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills with a positive, can-do attitude
  • Ability to prioritize multiple projects and communicate complex ideas clearly
  • Proficient in MS Office and capable of preparing detailed reports and documentation
  • Ability to handle stressful situations with guests tactfully and professionally
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, ethical and able to maintain confidentiality
  • Ability to travel occasionally and work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, holidays and special events
