aHudson Group is an international retailer and distributor primarily involved in the sports and fashion wear sectors. The Group's head office is in Malta, but it is also present through offices in Italy, Cyprus, Morocco, Nigeria,, and Algeria.

Though Hudson Holdings was founded in 2006, the Group's roots reach as far back as 1987 when the first pair of NIKE was sold in Malta.

This is a customer facing role where you will be helping people by answering questions, sorting out problems and passing along feedback that helps us improve what we offer. It is about listening, being helpful and making sure customers feel looked after, whether they are online or in store.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Reply to customer messages through email, live chat and social media keeping things clear, polite and on time.
  • Help solve customer issues within set timeframes, making sure they get the info or help they need.
  • Work through complaints calmly and professionally and team up with others when needed to find a good solution.
  • Handle all customer requests properly, following company guidelines and aiming for a smooth experience.
  • Work with your teammates and other departments to get things done efficiently.
  • Learn about our products and services so you can give helpful, accurate answers.
  • Keep customer info safe and follow data protection rules like the General Data Protection Regulation.
  • Suggest relevant products or services when it makes sense for the customer, using a helpful, not pushy, approach.
  • Support the sales team by helping clear up any customer issues they flag.
  • Help create a good experience for customers, whether they are shopping online or in person.
  • Pass on any tricky or complex issues to the Customer Care Manager when needed

How Your Work Will Be Measured

  • The quality and speed of your customer support, for both regular and business customers.
  • Helping the company meet its overall financial and service goals.

What We are Looking For

  • Some experience (up to a year) in a customer service role would be helpful, but it is not essential.
  • Applicant must be fluent in Maltese and English, both spoken and written.
  • You have finished your secondary education.
  • If you have done any customer service courses or training, that is a bonus.
  • You are good at staying calm under pressure and can juggle tasks when needed.
  • You can explain things clearly and listen well to understand people's concerns.
  • You are comfortable using Microsoft Office tools like Excel, or you have had some basic computer training.
  • You can work a full 40-hour week and are okay with working in shifts if required.
