In line with this commitment, our client is seeking a technical and highly organised Biomedical Engineer to join their team on a full-time basis.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
Evaluating the safety, efficiency, and effectiveness of biomedical, scientific, and industry-based machines, equipment, and software
Maintaining accurate and up-to-date service histories for specific machines and equipment
Educating, training, and guiding clinicians and other service personnel on best practices related to machine usage
Providing timely, detailed, and accurate reports on service work performed, including equipment and software performance, required expenses, and time allocations
Developing, maintaining, and strengthening customer relationships through expert advice and specialist service provision
Providing feedback and working closely with service managers and site managers to optimise equipment and software performance, productivity, and lifespan
Assisting in the development and continuous improvement of service and maintenance processes and related documentation
Continuously developing effective troubleshooting methods to provide remote technical assistance to customers
Qualifications, Experience & Key Skills Required:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Biomedical Engineering
Valid driver's licence
Strong technical acumen with a professional approach
Minimum of three years' experience in a similar role
Meticulous attention to detail with excellent organisational skills
Strong report-writing, communication, and IT skills
