Tax Advisor

A boutique business advisory firm in Malta is seeking a Tax Advisor to join their growing team and provide expert tax advice to a diverse portfolio of clients. This is a hybrid role and offers a salary of up to €45K.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide expert guidance to clients on Maltese tax matters, including Provisional Tax
• Payments and Social Security Contributions
• Prepare and review income tax returns and computations for both individual and corporate clients
• Handle the preparation and submission of income tax refund claim forms, shareholder registrations, and dividend warrants
• Liaise with the tax authorities on compliance issues and correspondence
• Assist with the preparation of DAC6 reports and other regulatory documentation as required
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of internal processes to ensure efficiency and compliance

Skills & Experience

• Minimum of two years' experience in a similar role
• Strong knowledge of the Maltese Income Tax system
• Near completion of ACCA qualification
• Excellent communication skills in English (both written and verbal), with the ability to explain complex tax concepts clearly
