You'll join a high-performing engineering team that values ownership, strong fundamentals, and pragmatic solutions. This role is ideal for a developer passionate about delivering smooth, interactive, and visually rich game experiences on the web using modern technologies and the Dart ecosystem.

As a Senior Frontend Game Developer, you'll build the client-side layer of real-time games, implementing game logic, UI components, and network synchronization for both single-player and multiplayer experiences.

You'll collaborate closely with backend engineers, designers, and UX experts to deliver responsive, performant gameplay through structured, maintainable code and efficient rendering pipelines.

• Develop and maintain frontend game logic and UI systems using Dart 3.0+

• Implement real time multiplayer features with WebSocket and protocol-based communication

• Manage state synchronization and event driven updates across sessions

• Build and optimize 2D interfaces, animations, and effects using or similar frameworks

• Ensure cross browser performance and responsive behaviour across devices

• Collaborate with backend teams to integrate game services and APIs

• Maintain a clean, modular codebase with clear separation of concerns

• Participate in code reviews, debugging, and performance profiling to ensure production quality

• Strong proficiency in Dart (3.0+), with experience in web development

• Good understanding of JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, and Sass/SCSS

• Experience with real time networking, WebSocket, and state management patterns

• Knowledge of 2D graphics rendering frameworks such as

• Familiarity with responsive design and mobile web optimisation

• Understanding of protocol-based client server communication

• Experience with build tools including webdev, build_runner, and build_web_compilers

• Exposure to automated testing

• Awareness of performance optimisation, WebAssembly, or internationalisation (i18n)

• Interest in game development, animation systems, and interactive UI design

• Experience with multiplayer and/or tile-based games is a plus
