Accounts Manager

About the Role Our client, a well-established Corporate Services Provider (CSP) in Malta, is seeking to appoint an experienced Accounts Manager to join their growing team. The Accounts Manager will play a key role in overseeing client portfolios, managing a team of accountants, and ensuring the delivery of accurate financial reporting and compliance. Key Responsibilities Manage a portfolio of corporate clients, ensuring timely delivery of accounting and financial reporting services. Oversee preparation and review of management accounts, financial statements, and tax/VAT submissions. Supervise and mentor junior team members, providing guidance and performance feedback. Ensure compliance with IFRS, GAPSME, and relevant regulatory requirements. Coordinate with auditors, tax advisors, and other external stakeholders. Assist with business planning, budgeting, and financial analysis for client companies. Develop and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted point of contact. Support process improvements to enhance efficiency and service quality. Requirements Fully qualified accountant (ACCA, CPA, or equivalent). Minimum of 46 years experience in accounting, ideally within a CSP, corporate services, or audit environment. Strong knowledge of Maltese tax and VAT legislation. Previous experience managing and mentoring a team. Excellent organisational and time-management skills with strong attention to detail. Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite. Strong interpersonal skills and client-service orientation. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
