Job Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced Corporate Reconciliations Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Financial Control department, you will be responsible for efficient control and management of corporate bank accounts, ensuring the safeguarding of which is an integral part of our global financial strategy.

  • Prepare accurate and timely reconciliation of cash in corporate bank accounts, as well as assist in reconciling and managing retail store cash floats and bank accounts.
  • Develop strong relationships with colleagues within the Finance department and the wider business, responding promptly to queries or urgent issues.
  • Manage relationships across geographical locations, collaborating effectively with key stakeholders.
  • Ensure completion of month-end bank reconciliations, maintaining a high level of attention to detail and trustworthiness due to the sensitive nature of information.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should possess:

  • Strong educational background, although a degree is not essential.
  • A proactive approach to work, combined with enthusiasm and a willingness to learn.
  • Proficiency in using standard IT packages, particularly Excel, and good system skills.
  • An outgoing, professional, and positive approach, along with excellent time management, organisational, and multi-tasking skills.
  • The ability to identify potential risks and take initiative to improve processes.
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic environment.
