At The Cavalry Global, we're seeking a highly accomplished Senior Chef Director to lead our culinary team in Malta.

This is a rare opportunity for a talented chef to shape the culinary vision for a well-established group of restaurants and events.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor a team of talented chefs to deliver exceptional dining experiences that showcase the quality and innovation our clients brand is known for.
  • Collaborate closely with the Global Culinary Director to establish and maintain high culinary standards.
  • Oversee food costs, monitor stock levels, and work with the purchasing team to source quality ingredients while keeping within budget requirements.
  • Develop and implement strategies to drive guest satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Requirements:
    • Proven experience as an Executive Chef or in a senior culinary leadership role within a multi-site hospitality environment.
    • Strong financial skills with experience in cost control, inventory management, budgeting, and understanding P&L in culinary operations.
    • Leadership and team development abilities, with a track record of training and motivating kitchen teams across different locations.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with culinary and cross-functional teams.
    • Formal chefs qualification, with additional certifications in food safety or HACCP beneficial.
  • Work closely with marketing to promote seasonal menus and new dishes, providing culinary insights to strengthen campaigns and guest engagement.
