Head of Finance

Mint Care is looking for a highly skilled and experienced individual to join our team as the Head of Finance.

In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing all financial operations and providing strategic financial guidance to the organization. You will play a crucial role in driving the financial success and growth of the company.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manage and oversee day-to-day financial operations
  
• Lead and develop a high-performing finance team, through guidance and mentorship
  
• Generate monthly management accounts in line with accounting standards
  
• Work closely with the team to establish and maintain further financial policies and procedures for the company
  
• Lead budgeting and forecasting processes
  
• Research and analyse financial reports in line with market trends
  
• Oversee cash flow management
  
• Oversee taxation and liaison with external firms for advice
  
• Seek out methods for minimising financial risk for the company
  
• Liaise with auditors for the preparation of the audited financial reports
  
• Oversee and participate in general management functions, including management meetings, the recruitment of team members, and the handling of the company's performance management process for the finance team.
  
  SKILLS, QUALIFICATIONS AND ATTRIBUTES:
  • A tertiary level of education, ACCA-qualified or equivalent
    
  • Two years post-qualification experience working in a finance role
    
  • A warrant to act as an Accountant was issued by the Malta Institute of Accountants
    
  • Ambitious individual, with an appetite for personal growth
    
  • Organised and methodical approach
