As a Chef Tournant, you will collaborate closely with our Executive Chef and Sous Chefs to ensure the consistency and excellence of our menu offerings. You will oversee the daily kitchen operations and perform the following responsibilities to the highest standards:
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage the kitchen's daily operations, ensuring everything runs smoothly.
Ensure that every dish is prepared to the highest quality
Work with the Executive Chef and Sous Chefs to maintain menu excellence and consistency
Provide support and ensure smooth operation by rotating between various kitchen stations
Train and mentor junior kitchen staff, fostering a positive work environment and encouraging professional growth
Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation guidelines
Interact with guests when required to receive feedback, address concerns, and offer dining recommendations
Work closely with other departments to ensure a seemless dining experience for our guests
To successfully fill this role, you should maintain the attitude, behaviors, skills, and values that follow:
Proven experience as a Chef Tournant or in a similar role
In-depth knowledge of various cooking techniques and cuisines
Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment
Strong communication skills and keen attention to detail
Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
Solid understanding of food safety and sanitation guidelines
Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
