Technical Trade Leader

A well-established company in Malta is seeking a skilled Technical Trade Leader to join their Technical Services team in the workshop section, overseeing electrical maintenance projects across their facilities.

Responsibilities:
  • Project Management: Plan and organize resources to meet agreed deadlines, ensuring timely completion of electrical maintenance projects.
  • Team Leadership: Delegate tasks to the team, oversee various trades within the department, and foster a collaborative work environment.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure that all assigned jobs are carried out to the highest standards, in line with company plans and policies.
  • Policy Development: Provide advice to superiors on the development of policies, plans, and risk assessments, and report on the performance of the area of responsibility as needed.
  • Collaboration: Work with third-party contractors involved in company-wide engineering projects.
Requirements:
  • Qualifications: Wireman's Licence A & B, Advanced Technician Diploma (ATD) / Higher National Diploma (HND) or a similar qualification at MQF Level 5 in Electrical Engineering.
  • Language Skills: Proficiency in both written and spoken English.
  • Leadership Abilities: Strong leadership abilities, with a proven track record of motivating and guiding teams.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Remuneration:

The remuneration package will be commensurate with the candidate's experience.
