FBS (Marketing) Ltd in Malta is currently looking to recruit a Warehouse Operator to join their team on a full-time basis.
Overview:
The company represents several big brands within the local market, brands such as Mars, Kellogg's, Foster Clark's, Barilla as well as Glenfiddich to name a few.
We are looking for a reliable and organized individual to join our team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the warehouse, including receiving, storing, and distributing materials and products.
The Warehouse Operator position depends on a set of routines of order fulfilment that assumes a familiarity with the products.
The routine consists of different steps, starting with pulling the items off the shelf according to the picklist.
The next step is sorting the items according to trucks or clients as instructed by the storekeeper.
This position also requires the person to maintain warehouse cleanliness and tidiness at all times.
There could be times that you have to assist a delivery person as a helper or indeed fill the role of a delivery person.
The Warehouse Operator shall report directly to the Warehouse Supervisor.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform Stocktaking
Report any discrepancy found in the inventory
Pick according to pick list, pack, load and unload of goods
Accompany and help the delivery persons on a delivery route when requested
Maintain warehouse tidiness and cleanliness
Adhering to company uniform and safety equipment policies
Take up the position of the delivery person when requested.
Skillsets & Requirements:Able to write and converse in English
Physically fit and healthy
Possess a clean police conduct
Understand written procedures
Understands complex, multi-step written & oral instructions
Specific knowledge to follow safety practices and procedures.
