FinTech company looking for an experienced and talented IT Manager/ Head to oversee the day to day activities within the IT department.
The selected candidate shall report to the Board of Directors and ensure that any and all regulatory requirements are being met.
Role & Responsibilities
- Conduct GAP analysis, identifying areas of improvement and implement action plans
- Draft, update and implement the internal IT policies and procedures;
- Maintain servers and storage environments and infrastructure for optimal performance;
- Configure, diagnose, upgrade and install client and server systems;
- Monitor backups, security systems including antivirus and encryption;
- Create and maintain documentation;
- Evaluate software to meet requirements;
- Network security/Anti Threat;
- Liaise with consultants and contractors;
- Set up and manage electronic devices;
- Deliver training courses to staff as well as provide daily assistances as required Education, Skills & Experience
- Bachelor of Science in Information Technology or similar
- 23 years experience within a similar position
- A team player with strong analytical and communication skills
- Experience in dealing with regulatory bodies on all IT related matters
- Excellent written and oral skills in English
- Ability to take ownership of tasks and be hands on
- Experience within a Fintech environment, however not required, will be considered an asset Excellent remuneration package inc a range of benefits offered. The role is based in Mriehel, Malta, with a hybrid flexibility approach. The role is not offered on a fully remote basis.
