IT Support Officer (m/f/d)

We operate in multiple licensed markets, both online and with physical shops, and have ambitious plans for further expansion. For this reason, we are in search of a strong, independent IT Support Officer (m/f/d) that is looking for a challenge in owning the IT framework within our office in St. Julians, Malta , while working closely with colleagues across different offices. Responsibilities:

- As an IT Support Officer (m/f/d), you are responsible for the server room organization and the maintenance of hardware including printers and Wi-Fi Networks
- Moreover, you will upgrade, install, and configure new hardware and software to meet company objectives.
- You will resolve support issues on Windows devices, including desktop applications and user account management for existing and new colleagues.
- Furthermore, you will pick up requests and incidents in a ticket system and provide effective and friendly first- as well as second-line support to our employees.
- You will supervise third party vendors, including phone system management.
- Last but not least, you will maintain existing and deploy new desktop systems as required. Qualifications:

- Completed vocational training (technical or higher school)
- Work experience of at least two years
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and other Office applications
- Experience with a customer service tool, such as Zendesk would be seen as an advantage
- Must be organized and detail oriented with the ability to multi-task
- Knowledge of software such as Windows Server, Windows Client, Active Directory, VMWare (virtualisation environments), Exchange, Microsoft PowerShell or MSSQL would be an advantage What to expect:
