Our client, operating mainly within the hospitality industry, is recruiting a Talent Acquisition Officer to join their HR Department. Within this role, the ideal candidate will be responsible for:

- Advertising any vacancies that may be required on various recruitment platforms, job boards and recruitment agencies and ensure that they are in line with the HR procedure;
- Assisting in the recruitment campaigns, organising and conducting interviews as necessary
- Vetting Frontliner candidates' CV's and processing in line with the company's selection process;
- Ensuring HR Career mailbox is handled daily, organise resumes by job description and make sure that CVs are removed from the system after six months period;
- Ensuring that the Jobs Plus portal (vacancies) is vetted after each advert issued on Jobs Plus and to make sure that the candidates listed from Jobs Plus are contacted and final feedback is sent to Jobs Plus;
- Interviewing and evaluating daily 'walk-ins' candidates followed by 2nd interview with Head of Departments if necessary;
- Making sure that successful candidates are given the list of documents required to start the application for the work permit, both for walk-in candidates and still abroad candidates, where necessary;
- ENsuring that selected applicants are informed about the required documents to prepare from abroad;
- Making sure that all documents are reviewed and signed by the applicant;
- Making sure the recruitment list is updated daily with the details of the candidates, the outcome of interviews and status of applications;
- Making sure that the company's Still Abroad Report is updated with the potential applicants' details, the outcome of their interviews, and the status of documents and applications;
- Assisting the HR Employment Officer in respect to required documents by Jobsplus;
- Making sure that all new employees' coming from abroad documents are correct and signed;
- Liaising with HR Executive by forwarding to her work permit applications ready to be submitted to Identity Malta;
- Booking appointments for biometrics for employees coming from abroad;
- Maintaining new candidates' referral list and submit a report to Payroll Manager;
- Issuing statistics reports on a weekly basis;
- Ensuring that feedback is given on daily basis;
- Ensuring that Skills Database is updated by end of every month;
- Performing standard office procedures including scheduling appointments, processing emails, answering phone calls, typing and filling;
- Attending meetings as requested and to take notes during such meetings;
- Ensuring that all tasks are actioned and followed up until matters are resolved;
- Making sure to answer employees' queries about HR-related issues, specifically for recruitment;
- Ensuring a high quality/standard of work and service throughout;
- Travelling abroad for recruitment drives when necessary. Experience & Skills:

- Relevant qualification in HR or recruitment considered an asset
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar position
- Familiar with Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to prioritise work accordingly
- Conscientious and attentive to detail
- Ability to work well within a team
