The Role:

  • Preparing and also Reviewing of Net Asset Value Calculations Preparation of payments when necessary
  • Establishing a relationship with the clients, assist with day to day requests and respond to their needs;
  • Review and Preparation of Financial Statements compliant with IFRS and liaising with the auditors where applicable;
  • Liaising with the Funds’ Managers, Investors, Bankers, Independent Auditors and Other Service Providers to the Funds;
  • Review compliance with company defined checklists, procedures and controls;
  • Assist team development by providing guidance, training and mentoring to Junior Fund Accountants;
  • Ensure pre-agreed internal and external deadlines are met consistently and significant issues are communicated to the Manager and Senior Manager as appropriate;
  • Liaising with the Transfer Agency team regarding subscription, redemptions and other Investor related transactions and communications
  • Liaising with the Legal/CoSec Team when necessary
  • Preparation of tax returns;
  • Regulatory reporting.

Your Profile:

  • You are a University Graduate in Accountancy or Banking and Finance or relevant degree
  • At least 2 years working experience in fund administration and/or in the accountancy field will be considered an asset;
  • You have very good knowledge of excel and word;
  • You have strong analytical and problem solving skills;
  • Happy to work as part of an international team;
  • Team player with a positive ‘can do’ attitude;
  • A strong interest to learn and develop a strong career in fund administration in Malta and other international offices.
